MERV rated synthetic poly blend pleated media plus activated charcoal flat panel added to increase odor control. Nordic Pure recommends changing 5 air filters every 3-6 months.
Nordic Pure MERV 14 is equivalent to MPR 2800. Important Note: Almost ALL furnace filters have a different "actual size" than the nominal size printed on the air conditioner filter. It's best if you measure your air filter for the EXACT size and compare it to our "Actual Size" - and then you can be sure your A/C air filter fits! We also carry 4 7/8 and 5 1/4 inch depth filters, this is why we ask you to compare the exact dimensions.Nordic Pure 16x20x5 Honeywell Replacement MERV 14 rated air filters are what is considered the traditional 5" filter at an actual 4 3/8". It can replace not only Honeywell but Lennox, Carrier, and Bryant air filters. Of course, this is just a list of the most well-known systems that use this size. You should always measure your current filter or the housing to make sure the actual size correlates with the filter you are ordering. The Pleated Plus Carbon air filters are made of electrostatically charged synthetic materials with an added flat panel infused with activated charcoal that will attract and capture most airborne particulates in your home. It will help eliminate unwanted odors as well as trap most airborne dust and particulate matter for fresh, clean air. Odorous gases and vapors (VOC) are attracted to and held by the activated carbon material while maintaining excellent air flow properties. Each time air passes through a Nordic Pure pleated furnace filter, lint, household dust, pollen, dust mites, pet dander, smog, bacteria, allergens, mold spores and other contaminants are removed. All Nordic Pure pleated air filters are manufactured using a heavy duty, moisture resistant beverage board frame.
There is a metal mesh support grid bonded to the pleats for extra support. Our AC filter media prevents the growth of bacteria or mold, resulting in a much healthier living environment.
The effective life of your AC air filter depends on both the inside and outside conditions in which you live. It is important to regularly change your furnace air conditioner filters especially during any home improvements for fresh, clean air in your home or office. We recommend that you change your air filter every 3-6 months to maintain maximum efficiency and economy. FAQ- Frequently Asked Questions Where are my air filters located?
